House of Nannas
One home for Dr. Ajaz Anwar’s legacy — where collectors, readers and donors each find their way in.

The client
House of Nannas, founded on 27 November 2011 in Lahore, is a cultural and charitable institution led by Dr. Ajaz Anwar — the renowned painter of old Lahore, former Director of the Art Gallery at the National College of Arts, and a leading voice of the Lahore Conservation Society. It is named after ‘Nanna’, the iconic cartoon character created by his father, cartoonist Anwar Ali.
The challenge
House of Nannas is many things at once: an artist’s studio and legacy, a seller of original paintings and authentic prints, a publisher, a heritage campaign, a mentoring space for young artists, and a charity. Each speaks to a different audience — collectors, readers, students, heritage lovers and donors.
The website needed to give each of them a clear path, while keeping the warmth and history that make the institution what it is.
